Estelle Annabelle is a Very Special Tribute Kit - A Tribute to my Beautiful Mother, Estelle Anabelle (note different spelling), and the two Grandmothers she was named after, Estella Perlina Avella Rosina (Pea) Crumley (Maternal), and, Anabell or Anabella McPherson (Paternal). As is the case with most genealogical records, I have found Anabell's name spelled in a variety of ways, including the double N's. Since my middle name is Ann, I have taken poetic license to name my kit using both N's. My Grandmother, Edythe (Crumley) Smith, spelled Mom's name incorrectly (according to Grandma...Smiles...) on the Birth Certificate, leaving out one of the N's, which made the pronunciation "Ainabelle". Mom's actual BC shows her name recorded as Stella, but this is an error of major proportions. When Mom was just a wee girl, her Father nicknamed her "Peggy". This was the name she went by for the rest of her life. Mom grew up during the gray years of The Great Depression - Her Grandmothers during the Victorian and Edwardian Eras. Because they were not born to wealthy families, their clothing and furnishings were plain, almost austere. With this kit, I have attempted to add a little color to their lives, with various shades of pinks, greens, ochres and a myriad of in-betweens. With hints of vintage, ESTELLE ANNABELLE is perfect for Feminine Heritage Layouts, but I can easily see it being used for Wedding Pages and Sweet Little Princess Scraps. The majority of the elements feature "sparkles" of one type or another, predominately, Hearts, for obvious reasons.
