A NEW DAY by Idgie's Heartsong

A NEW DAY is Dedicated to My Dear Friend Marsi Wilson, who left this world on January 23rd, leaving a LARGE HOLE in many many people's hearts - She was Well Loved. For 30 some odd years, off and on, we worked together, played together, ate scrumdiddlyumptious desserts together AND laughed until we cried together.

As I struggled to imagine a world without her, I threw myself into the refuge of designing a new kit - Something that would make me quit dwelling on the thoughts of my own mortality... It's a process... I knew this kit had to be BRIGHT and FULL OF LIGHT. A NEW DAY is a cross between a Fresh Spring Day and a Birthday Party! It celebrates a vibrant life that has left us all too soon, and, represents my own attempt to find reason in this world and a rebirth of my spirit. I just followed my heart on this one -

If you purchase this kit, please disregard the fact that there is not a zip # 4 - My Bad...LOL! It doesn't exist...I misnumbered my files and it was too late to turn back...

Many of the Single Items DO HAVE REALISTIC SHADOWS when I found them appropriate. I hope you can find some scrapping inspiration with these Pretty Papers and Elements - This kit brought me back to life in a sense. Friday, February 5th is Marsi's Memorial - Her Family and Friends will join together to spread her ashes at one of her most favorite places to be - There will be tears, no doubt, but I know in my heart that the laughter will prevail.
